I'll stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former twice unified title holder Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.

Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.

Jake Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Financial Success

Still, the novice continues to be one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the fight is really happening.
