This Supernatural Story
Soderbergh tests his creative boundaries with this clever paranormal narrative filmed completely from the perspective of a ghost. After a clan including mother Rebekah and her distressed teen Chloe occupies their fresh home, the lens – AKA the Presence – shadows their actions. This Creepy Thriller
Scott Derrickson's claustrophobic thriller stands strong even without a follow-up. Taking place in 1970s Colorado, multiple kidnappings has left the youth anxious. Yet the old telephone in the room continues to ring, with ghostly voices providing assistance, and the intuitive nightmares from his sibling Gwen might rescue him. A solid creepfest. October 11th, 10.50pm, on Film4

The actor plays the corrupt Bakker, who states initially, asserting religious justification for riches. The couple begin monetising the American public's Christian beliefs. It's a riot of poor styling, bad makeup and bad faith, yet the lead actress succeeds to depict Tammy Faye in a likable light. Tuesday 14 October, late night, the Film4 channel
